PawPicks exists for one reason: buying pet gear online is harder than it should be. Product listings all claim to be "premium" and "vet-approved," review sections are flooded with fakes, and the difference between a $25 harness and an $80 one is rarely explained anywhere.

We write the comparisons we wish existed when we were shopping for our own pets.

How we choose what to recommend

• Spec-by-spec comparison. We compare materials, sizing ranges, warranty terms and safety certifications across every major product in a category.
• Long-term owner feedback. A product that looks great on day one can fall apart in month three. We weight reviews from owners who have used a product for 6+ months.
• Veterinary guidance. For anything health-related — beds for arthritic dogs, feeders for cats on portion control — we follow published veterinary recommendations.
• No paid placements. Brands cannot pay to appear in our guides or to improve their position.

How we make money
